Silence screams out loud

Darkness so bright

Shattered dreams

And scattered cloud

On a cold eerie night

O putrefying mind

Have you given birth

To fears quixotic

And thoughts unploughed

For untold years

Yet sinking in my bed

Drenched in tears

Reminiscent

I wait—

For hope shall germinate

And dawn shall rise again

And spark me–cinder

With colored flames
